The Commission Model
At Itreon, we operate on a commission-based model. This means we disburse compensation based on the equipment's sale price, less our sales commission, logistics, and handling costs.
Unlike fixed per-unit pricing with complex deductions, the commission model provides a more dynamic and market-driven valuation. Instead of employing a rigid framework often designed to impose excessively large deductions, our model is based on the equipment's actual market value and sale price.
Within the industry, most equipment is sold on an international trading market where prices are often standardized. This implies that Itreon and our industry peers sell equipment for approximately the same amount. The key differentiator lies in how compensation is calculated for you as the owner of used IT equipment.

Fair Grading
Selling old IT equipment can be complex, fraught with choices and pitfalls. Traditionally, the same entity receives, assesses, and purchases your IT equipment. This assessment, also known as grading, occurs only after the equipment has been submitted, meaning the price you based your decision on often turns out to be entirely different in the end. That's why Itreon does the exact opposite. We never perform the assessment ourselves; instead, we engage an independent partner to determine the condition of your equipment.
